8 kids of her own and then one more,
That’s why you’ll always be, the only Mama I know.
A woman of strength, of courage and love,
Beautiful and wise, now flying free as a dove.
A woman who my admiration was completely built around,
You were the root to our tree, the foundation to our ground.
In my eyes you were superwoman, what couldn’t you do?
You were my Teacher and Protector,
Where would I be without you?
You are the reason I became the strong woman I am,
That’s why you will forever hold my life in the palm of your hand.
You lived a long life and you fought so very hard,
But on the day that you left us, my heart tore apart.
The Lord knew you were tired and a cure was not to be,
That’s when he put his arms around you and said “Come with me”.
No longer are you suffering and your pain is gone away,
Although we loved you so dearly, we couldn’t make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating and your beautiful smile at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove, he always takes the best.
Rest in Paradise Mama, My Guardian Angel.
